It's official... we are the Nation’s Favourite Gin

We are delighted to announce that we have been crowned ‘National Gin Producer of the Year 2021’ by the International Wine and Spirits Competition 

In July, we announced our original London Dry Gin had been awarded a gold medal in one of the most prestigious and longest running spirits competitions in the World, The International Wine and Spirits competition (IWSC). Now we can also boast that we have been crowned ‘National Gin Producer of the Year 2021’ by the same elite organisation. 

This accolade has been awarded on the back of one of the most turbulent periods the alcohol industry has ever seen, which includes taking the industry through Brexit and a global pandemic. Our distillery has proven, not only could we adapt to the rapidly changing market conditions, we can thrive in them. 

Commenting on the results from 2021, CEO for IWSC, Christelle Guibert added: “These awards are always incredibly hotly contested. It is incredibly competitive to even make the shortlist for each trophy and so all producers should be very proud of this achievement. 

In an ever growing British spirits category that contains everything from gimmicky flavoured gins through to barrel aged gins at £140 a bottle; Trevethan has set itself apart as the leading light of the UK craft spirits movement.
